The Fort - An Event Facility

The tremendous charm of the rustic old "Fort" will have your guests bragging about your event to all their friends. You will be envied for your selection and admired for your good taste.

Dining

You could have as few as 10 and up to 80 for a "sit down" dinner or 125+ for a buffet line. Or just enjoy the warmth of the old "Fort" for your family gathering. Your business meeting would definitely be given a setting conducive for collaboration.

Primitive Camping
Tent Sites Available From:       June 1 to October 15
You may bring your own tent and choose a site near the bathhouse or some very secluded site throughout the 200-acre Arrowmont property such as in the valley near our small lake. No hookups are provided.  WIFI may be accessed at the Stables.
If you have to be 10 minutes from a "7-11" and tents everywhere (basically covered with people), then this isn't for you. But if you love nature, hiking, and horses roaming freely after work, then you've come to the right place.

The mountain road leaving up to the stables is very twisty and almost makes you contemplate your choice but I promise you it’s well worth it! The horses are very calm and gentle, good safety instructions are provided and the trails are beautiful, even in December! I haven’t ridden in almost twenty years and it was like riding a bike. My nine year old who rides regularly handled the trails like a pro. I highly recommend them!"
