The Fort
Use It For 2 Whole Days
We are giving it away for a ridiculous rate because we are new to offering a Wedding Venue and you are helping us learn to provide what's needed. Consequently, you get the benefit!! But we are quick learners. So don't expect this to last long!
The Fort may accommodate up to 75 people in a sit-down dinner and up to 150 in a buffet line. For stand-up style serve with finger foods you may have up to 225 people.
The minimum fee for use of the Fort is $1000 for up to 100 people, then it is $3/person in increments of 10 people or $30, plus any applicable taxes or other state/county fees, NC State Sales tax is 7%.
Rental rates for 2 Whole Days examples:
Less than or equal to 100 people is $1000**
Less than or equal to 150 people is $1150, ETC.
The rental fee includes the Dining Room with 50 chairs and tables, Fort Reception area, bathrooms, and yard area for additional activities/events.
No kitchen privileges are provided. Use of the kitchen is a separate agreement.

It is mandatory to rent the Small Room (motel room) when you reserve the Fort for your event. It has its own entrance on the left side of the Fort with a cozy front porch and rockers.
This is a small room with a double bed, private bathroom, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. The Small Room accommodates 1 or 2 people. If more than 150 people are attending, the rate for the 150+ would also include the Small Room rental.
The building is provided in a clean, ready-to-use operation. Chairs and tables, restrooms, stage area, and outside lawn area.

FOR ALCOHOL USE YOU MUST PURCHASE A
ONE-TIME PERMIT
For liquor, you need to acquire a One Day liquor permit from the county and provide a copy of the permit to Arrowmont.ADDITIONAL INFO
Information about local Bands, Photographers, and Florists is available upon request.

CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION PROCESS:
We want to clarify one thing about the credit card process. When you provide your credit card information, we need to verify it through a process called "Pre-authorization".
Sometimes this appears to be an actual charge, especially when viewed on your cell phone. But it is not. It is simply guaranteeing the credit card information provided is accurate and the full amount of the rental funds are actually available. NO funds are transferred to Arrowmont Stables & Cabins at this time.
If you are using a Debit Card this may cause overcharge fees during the verification process.
